This afternoon I took the water temperature at the end of our dock - it was 10.8 degC. And that was one week after I took the temperature while doing the phosphate sampling at the middle of the lake - where the temperature was 11.5 degC. The lake appears to have actually got a bit cooler ! Not surprising though since we've had really cool nights combined with rain, wind and cloudy days.
I wonder what the summer weather will be like and when it will arrive ........
Any guesses ?
