Yesterday we had a four hour power outage, starting at 7 AM. Usually not welcome, especially in the winter! But Hydro One energized the new power line that runs along the north shore of Loon Lake and abandonned the old, barely accessible power line back in the bush. I have never seen so much Hydro equipment and so many crews of workers ! It all went without incident and we now have a new Hydro service that should provide more stable power for our area.
