Here's one of those very rare moments in life. The minnows were a few days old and there were some dead ones in the minnow pail that gave off an aroma of dinner..... and this watersnake picked up on it. Try as he might, he never did unlatch the top of the pail. But we decided to give him a meal and when we went down to the dock, he went under it while we were there , and came back out to eat the dead minnows that floated on the surface after we refreshed the pail.
