Around Loon Lake
We've been very lucky so far this winter. This morning's the coldest yet at -20 degC ! We have over 10 inches of blue ice on the lake and there's been quite a bit of ice fishing this week. There's about 4 inches of snow in the bush and snow on roofs is generally slightly less. The Loon Lake road is plowed to it's traditional point and there's been limited 4X4 travel to the government landing [ice fishers]. The Gregory Lane is well plowed, including the parking lot, to Moccassin Trail but 4X4 accessible beyond as far as Beaver Valley.
