A Cold One !

It's 8 AM and the school buses [there are four of them each day] are starting to come along the highway. The sun just rose - now north of the outlet for Payne's Creek - as it works it way northward. We now have six fish huts on the lake and there were a few more portable ones on the weekend - but they are gone now. It's a FeederWatch day and the Chickadees and the Blue Jays are just starting to arrive after a very cold night. In the early morning hours, we hit -30 degC , and with no wind chill.
No wonder we now have over 15 inches of blue ice on the lake! Brrrr.....
