They Living in the Area....

It's been well over a week now and there haven't been any more deer kills nearby that we've seen. The wolves however are still here , it's just that they remain invisible ! Tracks are seen daily when you go out walking as they roam the bush looking for food. And there's an area below the dam that the wolves seem to have chosen as a temporary home location. There are tracks, in what appears to be a play area, where they have frolicked and rolled in the snow, and an area where impressions show that they have bedded down. It's a funny feeling looking at the area where they live as a family , after you've seen the horrible death they can cause, and realize that they too are animals living and surviving in the wild. Decades ago, this very same area had a den but I haven't been lucky enough so far to find another one - maybe this year !
