It continues to be quite cold - it's -25 degC again this morning. The ice is getting thicker - just over two feet now. We've had more snow but it's been light powder snow and tends blows around. It does however still build up on roofs and they should be watched, as always. We've raked our roofs three times now to help keep the depth down. The roads on each side of the lake remain quite accessible and the highways are excellent.
There's a good rumour going around in town - besides the strong possibility of a Tim Horton's coming to town, there's talk of a car wash - something long needed. Apparently the car wash will be going into the Industrial Road area - on the way into the local landfill. But it's only a rumour for now !!
