The March Break is starting out as a lion this year. Two days ago we had blowing snow that accumulated in drifts two feet deep. Since then we’ve had continuous rain and wind. The mess created was so bad that our snow plower was in yesterday morning at 4:45! This morning, it’s still raining and the depth of snow has dropped considerably. Snow on roofs is not bad while snow on the ground is difficult to walk in. The lake is a sea of slush and will be difficult for any travel. Gregory Lane is cleared from the highway to the end of Moccasin rail. There are icy patches on the road. It is not plowed west past the first hill. Main highways remain good for travel. It’ll be a good weekend to get caught up on reading or inside chores!
