I recently had a neighbour ask me what is the best thing that can be done to restore a damaged shoreline. This was a very important question because shorelines are the critical link between our land and the lake. And the vegetative matter on shorelines helps to protect the quality of our lake water. While there is considerable information available, I find that a brochure produced by Peterborough Greenup is perhaps the best available.The information can also be used to not just restore a damage shoreline but to enhance an existing shoreline.
