Loon Lake has a considerable number of slushy spots and the lake is not suitable for skating, walking, or sledding.
We have 15 cm (6 inches) of snow on the ground and there is a continuous light snow falling.
Roads around the lake are well plowed except for the Gregory Road past Moccasin Trail down the West Shore.
The main highways in the area are excellent.
