MOE Does Major Study
This morning, despite fog, a chilling wind, and the threat of rain, the Ministry of the Environment arrived to gather samples and take measurements for a thorough study of Loon Lake's waters. This event takes place every five to seven years.
Anchored in 100 feet of water, they took water samples, measured the water column for dissolved oxygen levels, and even took a sample of the lake's bottom for analysis.
A complete profile on Loon Lake will be done once all of the samples arrive back at their laboratory.
And after all of the data is finalized, I will be given a copy and I will share it with you, explaining what it all means.
