Happy New Year .....and may it get warmer!
Sitting here tonight, it's -25 degC outside and I have no idea what it is with the wind chill figured in.
Nor do I want to know.
At least the price of fuel is down so maybe I can keep the house temperature a bit higher...
While we have our birds feeding daily, it's been so cold that there's no sign of life back in the bush or around the shoreline - where the coyotes normally roam.
It looks like there's been more freezing activity on the lake - there certainly has been some in our river - as it closes in until Spring.
The highways in the area are good and the Gregory Lane is well plowed.
As I sit back with my feet up and think about the Lake in general, I can't help but think how fortunate we are to be living here.
