Equally important, the lands surrounding the lake are not over developed such that there has been any serious damage to what is known as the "riparian" or "water's edge" part of the lake.
And what is really phenomenal is that the lake consistently seems to have looked after itself for decades!
Saying that, I also believe that a lot of people help out by practicing good "living around the water" principles!
But even though our lake is "healthy", I ask myself what else could or should be done for the lake by all of us ?
What are your thoughts?
