Spring is definitely here! The river is starting to breakup and the lake is changing dramatically. The lake snow is very "wet" with water and there is slush on the ice. The snow in the bush is also melting quickly.
The Gregory Lane has some exposed gravel and the remaining road snow is slushy for driving.
It won't happen fast though as cold nights can often offset any melting gains made during the day. And if we get a short term shift to colder weather, it can slow down any melting.
