It sure took a long time coming! And of course all remaining snow and ice has long since gone. The roads are dry but so is the bush - so be careful with fire.
The lake is cold - so I'll keep out.
We do have black flies and they are starting to swarm and bite. Since black flies sleep at night and sleep late, I find I can get outside early (before 8am) and get some work done before it starts to get grimm!
I was able to get out in the boat at the end of last week and do my sampling for phosphorus and test the clarity of the water. Samples are supposed to be taken as close to "ice out" as possible.
